Sunny days are here again

Everyone got some rest and we are all feeling well! If we make it through tomorrow with no one falling ill, I think we''ll be in the clear. Bella woke up at her normal time 7:30am this morning thirsty and hungry. She was back to herself with a less than average appetite. Some of that may have had to do with preferring the popsicles over breakfast. We are so thankful she is better. She was so pitiful yesterday begging for water "Just water please" because she was so very thirsty.

Today was gorgeous. I wish I had a picture of our girls playing outside. It was just perfect. Bella and I went for a walk up the driveway to check the mail while Em was napping. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. My heart sings thankfulness that I am able to soak up every minute by staying home with them and today was a day to remember. Bella and I cleaned off our back porch and we just had the best time playing in the water and helping each other "clean". Emery is always wanting to help out too, so when daddy got home we did some more yard work. She wanted so bad to "help" me rake the leaves. It reminded me of when I used to "help" my mom clean or cook. Fun times.

Emery and Bella were having a blast finding worms and caterpillars. For some reason Emery's favorite thing to do is find sand or dirt and throw it up in the air behind her. However, the way she bends over to do it always results in 95% of it landing on her lower back or in her hair and when she stands up it goes right into her diaper, tons of it. She was quite the mess tonight, but so much fun was had! How do you get all the dirt out of their hair anyway?
