Our Weekend

It has been interesting to say the least this weekend. Our car's check engine light came on Friday, so Saturday am we headed down to Mayretta to our beloved mechanic. Praise God it is sensor related! Jamie believes this might just be a God thing. It sounds like our front axle was in desperate need of repair, but we'll know more tomorrow.

We spent the rest of the day driving around looking for Em a dress for her dedication (that was suppose to be today) Did I mention Jamie's car doesn't have AC and it was like 102 in the car sitting in traffic? Bella also likes to inform you often of her state of comfort in the car as well. Not the most fun we've ever had, but we made it to our friends, The Moons' house for a yummy dinner and play time for all our girls. Tough day, great night until...

4am Bella comes into our room, "My tummy hurts." Is this a ploy to avoid sleep or is she sincere. 5am, there is no doubt she is sincere. When I turn on my computer I see an e-mail saying "Are you up too?" Bella and the Moon girls have the funk and so far Emery has escaped unharmed. B had quite a rough day not being able to hold anything down or in, if ya know what I mean. She is resting comfortably now after holding down some fluids this evening. Hopefully no one else will acquire the funk.

Needless to explain, the dedication is now postponed. When it does happen, I know she will be the oldest child there. We waited till Bella was around 1 year old and planned on the same for Emery, but when we got ready to do it, our church decided to redo how they did dedications and a year later it has started back. So here we are. It is kind of nice though b/c we know more of the gifts God has put in her.
