Labor Day Weekend
We've had a great time this past weekend. We saw each of the grandparents, cheered on the Dawgs, and had a great time at the lake with Grammy and Grandy. We got to see Pop and Gana for while on Saturday and the girls had so much fun playing with their uncle T and wearing their "Go Dawgs" cheerleading outfits. Everytime Emery sees anything Georgia, she says, "Go..Sic..woof, woof, woof!" Awwe, we are so proud! That evening we joined my fam at my sister's house where Emery signaled touchdown every time the guys yelled and clapped. Sunday we enjoyed church then met Grammy and Grandy at the lake. It was awesome! Church and the lake!
The message was about what we are trusting in; the giver or the gift. Very good and so encouraging and challenging for us. Jamie and I are getting ready to share a lot of what's been happening from a financial standpoint in our lives over the past 7 years in an upcoming event called Married Life Live that our church does quarterly. It's just a brief interview, but our hope is that someone else can see hope and be helped by what we've gone through thus far. It will be great for us inthat it will make it much more difficult to go spend money we shouldn't after being so public about where we are. ( i
digress...)
Anywho, I hadn't been out on Lanier in so long and it was very peaceful, relaxing, and reminiscent for me. The girls were swimming well and we just all enjoyed being together. On the way home, we visited some of my extended family. It was good to see everyone if only for a few moments. The girls, namely Emery, were wiped out! Monday was very relaxing and Jamie and I even got a date night. So thanks for all the fun times this weekend everybody and we'll keep ya posted on what all is happening. Be blessed!
One last thing. This is Jamie's favorite shirt from when he was a little boy (o.k. maybe his favorite shirt even today) on Bella.

I can't believe that shirt is still all in one piece, and looks that good, after all these years.
We had a blast this weekend too! The Lake was awesome ... it had been over 30 yrs since I was up there so I can relate to going down memory lane! Glad you two enjoyed your date night =). We sure enjoyed the girls! Hope you are all having an awesome week!! Love the pics of the girls in their Dawg outfits.
Dukes of Hazzard was Ryan's favorite too! It sounds like you all had a great weekend. Take care!
Love,
missy
