We are down to one car. That car gets Jamie to work and we have been trying to research and decide what to do about another car that will hold 3 car seats. Every time we get close on a deal, it either doesn't work out or we just can not get peace about it. So, finally, after two very exhausting weekends of hauling the kids around, we decided to let it go and wait on God. (crazy idea, huh?)Some great friends of ours shared with us a long time ago how they make decisions as a married couple. They separately seek God about it and use the red(stop), yellow (wait), or green (go) analogy to communicate to each other what God is saying to them in their spirit. If either of them doesn't have a red or green, then they know they wait on God to make it clear. Simple, but brilliant in the complicated world of following God as a married couple.
Although the husband is the head of the marriage and he will be held accountable, I believe God meant what He said when He said Adam needed a helpmate. We, as wives, are there to bring info to the table that they may not be thinking about whether practical or spiritual. Jamie and I have realized we are so much better as a team. (it took almost 8 years, but hey, it's worth it!)

we've had only one car for over 2 years. it's not so bad. you get used to it! God's grace is sufficient.
I like that idea. Jimmy and I may be using that in the future. Hope you are doing well. 13 more days til baby. yay
