So I was thinking about some of my favorite things about my mom and it led me to thinking about 1 - food and 2 - memories, because if food can be a love language it is one of mine and quality time is the other, along with gifts..and well.. I better stop there or my husband might have a heart attack reading this.
So here's my question and yes, you must comment, all of you who read this, I'm serious:
What is your favorite thing your mom cooks?
What is one of your favorite memories with her?

macaroni and cheese
vacations to the beach, especially when my sisters, my mom and I went one year, just the girls

My favorite thing Mamma cooked would have been everything! But I especially loved her home made creamed corn! And then she also did this awesome candy that was vanilla and almond and had nuts in it!
My one favorite memory with her woudl have been that she took me to see the Nutcracker downtown at the fox and it was awesome!
I also really enjoyed watching her excitement to hold Bella that first time we took her to Kathy's ... I
remember that she just watched mamma!
Even in the hospital when she was so sick she lit up to see Jamie and you bring Bella to visit ... THANKS!!!!
I have emailed you but I'll tell you again. You are one sweet, thoughtful Daughter and Mom. You brought tears to my eyes. Those are some of my best memories of my girls too. My favorite food that my Mom used to make was chicken & dumplings. My best memories of her are when I would go to her house for the day every week,take her to the grocery store, then we would usually go back to her house and put Sheryl and Gina down for a nap. We would then lie on her couch feet to feet and talk and nap. Not very exciting but precious time together. I hope you have a "memorable" Mothers Day. I miss you and love you. Mom
