Just wanted to tell you all I haven't disappeared. It just been crazy to say the least. The move went smoothly, we closed on the house in Marietta which wasn't quite as smooth, and now have our internet/email straightened out. So any e-mails you sent in the last week, I probably didn't get b/c they had to erase all my messages to get it working. We were able to get all but a few boxes unpacked and were ready to hang curtains within the first week and there things have sat. Not on purpose! About a month or so ago I found out Charlotte, she is like my grandmother and the only grandmother I know, had lung cancer. They said it would be 6 - 12 months. We were all so sad mainly because 9 yrs prior her husband Mac passed away from the same thing and it was a horrible experience as she and my mom took care of him as he passed away. They were each other's sweetheart and a rare couple for sure even in their 80s. All I kept thinking when we found out about the cancer was this just seems cruel for her to know what all is ahead and know how horrible it is going to be. Well, two Fridays ago I got a call from mom saying Charlotte was not doing well and she may not last through the night. So, I rushed over to her house to see her. She was barely able to communicate, but we got to see each other and tell each other, "I love you!" I am so thankful. I stayed the night there with mom and Charlotte's niece. We were amazed at how peaceful she was and how there was no pain or trouble breathing. It really was amazing and a HUGE answered prayer. Charlotte went to be with Mac and meet Jesus face to face early Tuesday morning and it was peaceful through the end of her life here on earth. Praise God for His mercy! She was so excited to see Mac that she had picked out a special gown that she wanted to wear when she passed away to meet him in! I am doing well and Jamie has been awesome through this. I hope everyone is this excited for me when it's my turn to see Jesus face to face!
