Nana took me and the girls to the apple orchard up the road from their house where they have 
a petting zoo full of baby animals. The drive was gorgeous even though the leaves have yet to make their fall colors.
Bella's favorite part was chasing the chickens!!! She started with the newborn baby chick and quickly worked her way up to the bigger ones. She was definitely the more brave one of the two that day. When the goats would jump up on her to get the food out of her hand she'd start giggling and say Stop! The piglets were hilarious too because they ketp squealing. Bella and Emery started dying laughing. Bella was determined to hold it if only for 1.5 seconds. Emery kept her distance!
Emery liked feeding the goats till they got a little too pushy. She then went about to each animal and made their animal noise to them. They got to feed a 3 week old calf with a bottle and Emery just kept saying "Bottle! Bottle! Bottle!" I think she was amazed at the size of the calf's bottle. She was giddy holding it for the cow. We had a good time and ended the trip with some homemade ice cream and mommy even got one of my favorite treats..a Slush Puppy! (blue raspberry of course). Thanks Nana for a fun time!
