Something to ponder when you think about God's command to "Be fruitful and multiply".Especially when you consider many other religions, specifically Muslims, having 6 or more children per family on average. This is from from my niece and her husband's blog.
In 10 generations a family tree with:
2 children per marriage will only self propagate (which is common sense)
3 children will grow to about 40,000
4 children will populate to over 500,000
5 kids per family will result in almost 4,000,000 in only 10 generations.
