Dawg, .... I have NEVER been that sick in all my days. If I have, I know God in his goodness allowed me to block it out of my memory. I've had some pretty tough times that include being pregnant sick in India, having "animals" in my tummy as the Guatemalan doctor told me, and the nausea that hit about the 22nd hour of labor with Bella. Although my Guatty experiences lasted much longer, I never hit the point of "take me now Jesus or heal me". I literally thought I was going to die as my body ran cold and my hands turned blue and I thought "this is it, I'm about to pass out and it's over unless Jamie can get me to the hospital." Then my desperate prayers began..."Thank you Jesus for hospitals and medicine" (which then lead to) "Jesus be with those who are in 3rd world countries and have no help, be gracious to them and deliver them from their sicknesses"
Other than the laughs I'm sure y'all are enjoying, I guess the prayers for God's people were the only good things that came from this. Today's energy is wrapped up in writing this post and sipping ever so cautiously on my blue frost gatorade. Did I mention Jamie is being Mr. Mom as we have 2 b-day parties this weekend. Pray for him!
